I'm still behind in Scrapping

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade ! I keep telling myself that. My Mom
woke up last week with a detached retina, so into surgery she went. I've been busy
doing my daughter duties. I haven't scrapped a thing even though I'm itching to. I just get started on something and have to stop :-( Hopefully next week things will slow down for me.

Sad news and a short note.

I'm been away from my blog and PSP for awhile now. My beloved Dad passed away suddenly last Tuesday. He was 89 and a very special Dad.
He was a Rt Army Major .The funeral with full military honors
was very heartbreaking and something I'll never forget. I sure miss
him :-( I love you Dad !
On a much lighter note, Donna from Freedom to Bark has made a darling
pet themed blog layout and is offering it for free on her blog. I
love seeing free pet goodies out there in blogworld. There hasn't been
much offered in the past to pet owners. We love our furkids as much as
our human kids ! Stop by and tell her Taggerpaws sent you.

Looking for a FurBaby birthday QP ?

Pop over to our other blog SugarPaw Scraps for an adorable
pink QP freebie. All papers and embellishments used were from Kim B's
Happy Day Sis scrap kit. Credits are listed on the blog. I'm
hoping for a boy kit to surface soon that's as cute ! I know some
pet owners don't digi- scrap , so feel free to email me for instructions
how to add a picture to your quickpage. It's easy when you learn and
you don't forget how.
It's pouring here in the mitten and my grandaughter Gina
spent the night, so no PSPing for me yesterday or today.

If you can QP freebie !

Here's what I did instead of housework today ! ;-) I think
you'll like this quick page. The poem is called If You Can
and as far as I know it's anonymous . It pretty
much says it all doesn't it ? Click on the image for a larger
peek.
I left some room on the lower left for a journal tag , word art or
text of some kind. I could
not find one I liked and I didn't feel like making my own.
I also made a brand new preview layout to match
the SugarPaws Scraps blog . I told you I really
didn't do anything but PSP today ! Kit used for preview LO and SPS blog
is by Irene Alexeeva. She is an awesome designer !
